Topic: Returning a high bouncing serve - Can we end the mystery...?

Handling that really tough high bouncing "kicker" type serve can be a real challenge.

This video tip will show you the 3 keys to deal with that nasty serve.

  • Commit your front shoulder so it points at the incoming serve
  • Keep your hands "soft" to be able to make a final adjustment to the bounce.
  • Chip or slice "out" on a level plane, not trying to counter the upward bounce of the serve by chopping down against it.
