Personal Video Tennis Training (PVTT)
by Brent Abel

The Ultimate Tennis Stroke Improvement Method

If you're truly serious about improving any aspect of your tennis game, whether a specific stroke or strategy, then my Personal Video Tennis Training service may be just the learning tool for you.

Here's basically how this works.

You send me a video clip via email of the stroke you want to improve.  If you don't know how to attach a file to an email, it's easy.  I can show you how.

A 4-5 second clip of your tennis stroke is plenty.  You can either use a digital video camera or the video function on a digital still camera is also fine.

You'll need a high speed internet connection (either DSL, Cable, or faster) to send the video file.  This will not work with a dial up modem.

I will then take your video clip and put it side by side next to another video clip of the model we want you to copy (that model is normally me, but we can also use current pros such as Sampras or past pros such as Pancho Gonzales or others).

I then record a new video where I control your clip and the model's clip in real time, slo-mo, and frame by frame as I talk giving you my evaluation with recommendations for improvement.

Below is a sample from one of my PVTT students.  You'll need the FLASH video player downloaded onto your computer.  It's free and a quick download.

Click here if you don't have FLASH.

I then set up a private webpage for you, upload your new instructional video, and then

send you the webpage link via email.  I also burn your instructional video to your choice of a DVD or Computer CD and send that out to you in the USPS 1st class mail.

Brent,

Excellent!!!! I have been playing the video every chance I get hoping I can burn it into my brain.

Your commentary was fantastic and I liked how you pointed out the three points that I needed to focus on such that it is clear what I need to do when I get out on the courts.

It's hard not to be mortified when my serve is placed side by side by yours, but I do feel that
the comparison is key so that I can see how off my motion is from "perfection". A real wake up call!

I found myself looking at other people's serves on the courts the other night and I could clearly see the difference between those who had a good serve (i.e. following the motions you teach) and those with serves that needed work as they were not going through the phases that you teach and the motion is all over the place like mine.

The software you used worked extremely well to convey the lesson so that gets high marks as well.

I plan to try and practice the serving drills on the court this weekend.   In the mean time I have been practicing the drills you suggest at home. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Once again a million thanks.

I really felt like I was watching
a tennis match where the commentator broke down a stroke during a match.

That is usually the reason I like to watch on TV so to see it done on my stroke was great.

Regards,

Jason L., Denver

Dear Brent,

I am literally in shock about the quality of this service, your Personal Video Tennis Training.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered it from you (thanks for taking your time on the phone to explain it to me), but I am so glad I did.

My serve has improved well past what I ever imagined would be possible.

Especially my 2nd serve which such a weak part of my game.

I now feel confidence throughout the rest of my tennis game just because I no longer worry about my serve.

Thanks Brent and please feel free to use my email as a testimonial for your website.

A very satisfied customer,

Joan S., San Diego, CA

Hi Brent,

You promised me "real" improvement on my backhand and you more than delivered on that promise.

I am so grateful for what you have given me.  My tennis is more fun than ever before.

I know I'll never be the best player at my club, but to feel that wonderful feeling of actually truly improving on a tennis stroke is priceless.

The fee you charge for this service is well below what I think it is worth.

I'm hesitant to tell the other gals in my doubles group about this because I love being the one who now has the big backhand!

Thanks again Brent.

Diana T., Atlanta, GA

Your webpage also includes a specific practice plan (on and off the court) for improvement.

The entire process takes about 1 day from when I receive your video clip.

This is a powerful learning tool where in addition to your instructional video you receive a detailed practice plan that includes not only on court and off court drills, strength conditioning and flexibility exercises, but also specific visualization techniques.

I offer two versions of my PVTT service.

Both versions include:

  • your private webpage with your personal video lesson and practice plan;
  • a DVD or Computer CD (your choice) of your personal video lesson mailed to you;
  • a 30 minute private follow up consultation phone call with me
  • the current version of my instructional product for the stroke you want to improve in either Computer CD or DVD (your choice);
  • lifetime email support;
  • a 100% money back guarantee.  If you follow my instructions and are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason at any time, simply ask for your purchase price to be refunded and I will do so immediately.

Version #1 is a one time video clip exchange where you send me one clip of any stroke you want.  Your video lesson will be a complete evaluation by me of that entire stroke, a side by side comparison with either me or a different pro, and a detailed practice plan for improvement.

We will spend 30 minutes on the phone after you have had a couple of weeks to practice.

Version #1 price with everything included is $125.

Version #2 is a four week workshop where you and I exchange new video clips over a four week period, one new clip per week.

You send me a video clip at the start of the four week period, and based on my evaluation, I create an overall video lesson plan and design an improvement timeline schedule to help you master specific elements of your stroke over that four week time period.

At the end of each week, you will take a new video clip of your stroke, send it to me via email, and I will produce a new video lesson with a detailed practice plan for the upcoming week.

You will send me a new video for each of the four weeks.  In total, you will send me five video clips that will represent a "Before and After" series of improvement.

When the four week period is completed, we will spend 30 minutes on the phone as a follow up, and you will receive a DVD or Computer CD (your choice) that will include all of your five video lessons.

Time Requirements for Version #2:

Before the 4 week "workshop" starts, the student emails me 3 video clips of the stroke to be worked on (no more than 5 seconds per clip) from these different angles:

  • directly behind the student 15' back from the baseline;
  • from the corner of the baseline & the doubles sideline looking into to the student;
  • and from the corner of the singles sideline & service line looking into the student

Each week the student must be able to commit to:

  • playing tennis (either singles or doubles) at least twice during each of the four weeks;
  • two 15 minute practice sessions (following my specific practice plan) which can be either after (not before) their singles or doubles and/or another separate on-court time during the week.
  • two 20 minute off-court strength training & stretching sessions (following my specific plan)
  • at the end of each week, re-shooting a 5 second clip of their stroke from the 3 different angles.

Week 1: After receiving your initial video clips, and prior to starting Week 1, I will produce an instructional video (side by side, you and me) to have you work on specific elements of your serve for the first week. You will also receive from me a text practice plan and log for the week which you will email back to me after the week. You will re-shoot your stroke from the 3 different angles and email to me.

Weeks 2-4: I will produce a new instructional / evaluation video along with a new practice plan / log for yout for each of the weeks 2, 3, & 4 based on the video you send me at the end of each week.

End of the Workshop:  At the end of the 4 week workshop, you must commit to a 30 minute private phone conversation / evaluation with me.

Version #2 price with everything included is $495.

GUARANTEE:  Remember, you are not at risk at all with your purchase.

I am so confident you will have significant improvement that I will give you a lifetime 100% purchase price guarantee of your purchase satisfaction.

All that I ask is that you follow my practice plan.  It's that simple.

Pick the version you want.  Once your credit card or PayPal payment is successfully transacted, you'll be re-directed to a questionnaire form that I want you to complete.

This form will help us get started and will provide you with simple instructions for shooting and sending me your video clip.

I'm looking forward to helping you.  This is a powerful learning tool that can make dramatic changes in your tennis game!
